Live, laugh, learn, love.
Live, learn, laugh.
Live, learn, laugh often.
Live, laugh, learn.
And other variations. Ad nauseam. Emphasis on the part indicating nausea.
It's a trite, overused, under-thought statement that drives me quite batty. Quite often. 'Cause it's everywhere. Every third blog displays this pathetic banality. (If yours is one of them, I'm sorry; I forgot you had it displayed proudly on your charming internet space—and you're my best friend! If I'd remembered, I never would have created this post. Trust me.)
So I've been thinking about having a t-shirt made. One to mock this contemptible cliche.
The Spouse thinks it's a bad idea.

I like Fight, Hate, Fornicate.
Ask Mark if that could be a t-shirt.
OOhh! I think it's a great idea. I like the one above too.
Wouldn't a post on nauseating obiter dictums be great! It would be even better if you wrote it. (Not because I'm lazy and don't want to do it myself but because your writing is so cleverly sassy!)
Love IT! But I don't think that Briggs would think that it is kind to others, he is on a good streek lately.
I have a plaque that a parent gave me that has the Live, Learn, Laugh on it. I was confused by what it meant until just a few years ago. I have to agree with you. I don't know about the 'new' t-shirt though. Would it be politically correct? As if you care.
I am dying right now. PLEASE PLEASE make a pics of that and email to me so i can post it on my blog as a side bar pic. PLEASE! I would steal it right now, but I want your permission.
i would wear it.
