In her blog, the sister Whitney asked her audience what their N.Y.’s resolutions are.
My answer to her query: I don’t have any.
I mean no offense to those of you who set resolutions, but for my part, in my life, I think they’re weak. Reason being, I’m constantly setting resolutions for myself—learn to do this, fix that about yourself, do better at your job. I guess I’m never really satisfied with me. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s the reason I don’t set resolutions when a new year rolls around; I already have two or three “resolutions” in progress, and when I’m though with those or even when I find they might not be the right thing for me right now, I find something else to work on.
So if you set a resolution for 2008, I wish you luck and bear you no ill will. Whatever gets us to be better—be it an experience, a look in the mirror, or the advent of a new year—is worthwhile.
To you and yours: Hau’oli Makahiki Hou!

I am with you on that... I thought I was weird for not having resolutions... PHEW...
Sounds good to me! I have had the same resolution since I was 11, lose weight. But this year I nixed that one (since it will be that way forever) and went with quit drinking diet coke and all carbonation all together. Now you can't say that that is a great one right? But I'll let you know how it is going, maybe i'll do what you did this next new years. I've already thought about soda a hundred times today, I need to be strong!
Ha ha, MEGAN! That last post was from me- MERI, I was still signed in under my husbands blogging name. Ha ha ha, he would DIE if he knew I did that (considering the subject), ha ha. I am laughing so hard! Please know that it was Meri who said that, no my poor unknowing husband. HA ha ha ha ha...
