My answer: Fresh air. Fresh air puts me in the mood for gratitude. When the Reno air is especially crisp I find myself sucking in giant gulps and being awfully grateful for what I encounter. The air is crispy today, so I am feeling very thankful. For what? Well, I'm keeping that to myself this year.

My life. Sounds super cliche but when I look at the lives of those I work with and I contemplate those around the world who don't know what it is like to have food, shelter, love, a bed to sleep in, etc. it is quite humbling. Every day is a reminder that I am one helluva lucky gal to have the parents and siblings that I do even when we are fighting.
I'm grateful for you. And Lars.
And blog friends.
A body that works properly. Even when I'm having those days when I hate how my body looks, I'm oh so grateful that it works.
Oh, and blog friends/buddies. Bliends. Bluddies. I never really "got" blogging. But I do now. I totally get it.
A husband who puts up with my shit with grace, patience & love and mentally, financially, emotionally & sometimes even physically supports me like nobodys business.
The ocean and the giant mountains here always put me in the mood of gratitude. I feel awfully small next to both of them, and that in turn makes me grateful to be alive and for everything else that goes along with living.

Having a sense of humor makes me grateful. For the most part, life isn't all that serious and having a sense of humor helps put things into perspective.
