So in case I forget how to read Cat, I'll still know it's Caitlyn when she rings me.
While digging through A. Sue's blog I found this little muffin:
My dad--Jack's his name--really does adore his sons-in-law. As well he should. And according to the image above (taken at Mal and Nicholas' wedding in February), his adoration falls heaviest upon The Husband. As well it should. Don't try to deny it, Dad. Don't try to refute it, girls. Don't try to mitigate, Mom. The proof is in the picture. In addition to being the favorite son-in-law, my husband is also the favorite brother-in-law. And while some sissies will admit it, others are more guarded with their opinions; however, the bashful ones ought to be more forthright, for I know the truth. And they know the truth. They know that I know. Out with it, girlies. Honesty: the most superior of policies.
The other bros-in-law may want the title. They may try to earn it from time to time. But they'll never unseat the first cock to make roost in the SixChix hen house.

Megan. That last sentence. Really? And I'm not as dirty minded as you might think.
Also, we all know Dad La.La.La.Loves Tadd. It's just that Tadd probably wouldn't allow him to lay one on him, nor would Dad try. They are just tooooooooooo sophisticated.
Tisk, tisk.
Cat has a point. Dad LOVES Tadd. He follows him in the blazing sun for 18 holes and keeps his stats.
Girls, I told you not to refute it. I did. It was a warning of sorts. Because if you tried to refute it I'd have to respond, and no one is going to like the response.
It's golf Dad loves. Sure he loves Tadd. But he's loved golf much longer. And watching/keeping sports stats is Dad's hobby; ever seen some of the spreadsheets he comes up with for basketball playoffs? Insane, I tell you.
And Cat, like I'm the first one to come up with that last sentence. It's a joke that's been floating around our family for years. I'm just the first one to put it in print, so to speak.
Tell yourselves what you want - but when it comes to boys, he loves Gus the most.
Ah, Mom has an excellent point.
