THURSDAY ASK-N-GAB • TWELFTH

My answer (as if you can't guess): The Grim Reaper. The others are only givers (aside from the Tooth Fairy, I suppose; she actually gets to take teeth with her, but who wants those?). The Grim Reaper, however, is a taker--a nabber of bodies and souls (depending on which legend you listen to).

I would also choose grim reaper, but only for the reason of hearing desperate people beg for their lives. I'd make them tell me what they'd done in their life that was worthwhile, etc. I think it would be highly interesting!

Santa, baby.

Maybe it's because I want to play Santa every year, but my husband is a little bit of a scrooge, and therefore Christmas is never as, um, abundant, as I want it to be.

(He would be really mad if he knew I called him scrooge. He's actually very generous, but he has some issues with Christmas. He doesn't want spoiled kids. *phsaw!*)

Once involves dentistry, one involves being a rodent, the other involves being fat, and the other involves death...um, none of the above? Fine...if I have to pick one for the sake of conversation I'd say the tooth fairy...she probably has the best outfit.

i'm going to go with the easter bunny. only because i would most likely have access to the M&Ms peanut butter eggs on a year round basis and i freakin' love those things. for some reason they just taste better than regular peanut M&Ms.

Totally the tooth fairy. There is a huge amount of mystery associated with her. What does she look like? where does she live? The story pretty much ends with the $ and for real, any one who has THAT much cash laying around for each kid and their fallen teeth MUST be able to pay off my debt.

Is it weird that I'm Jewish and I want to be Santa...Christmas envy maybe? I love how kids go gaga for Santa - especially all the bribery for good behavior!

Even though I don't celebrate it, I love that time of year because I have great memories with friends who do celebrate it (hanging out with their families, listening to Christmas music, and being gifted my own ornament for their Christmas trees - very thoughtful I think).

Tooth Fairy, hands down. Just because she has wings. And she gets to "come out" more than once a year... and because the grim reaper is just creepy! :p

I choose the tooth fairy.
I've always wanted to fly and also I would love to be teency tincy.

Besides, per my 8 yr old daughter, the tooth fairy gives the lost teeth to babies when they first grow their teeth. So then you don't have to deal with all those teeth afterward.

Yeah, I suppose that's kind of gross if you think about it that way.
